Testimonials
Many examples can be shown of how Best Solution has helped previous and existing clients, including the following.
Mr. A in Suffolk
Mr. A was with another company on their debt management programme. After over a year of getting nowhere he tried to contact them and seek advice. For three months he was phoning, faxing, emailing and writing to them but got no response. He came to us and we got his creditors to stop all the interest and charges and accept our payment offers. After two months of being with us we had managed to settle one of his debts for half the original amount. Now three of his debts are settled in total, again saving him approximately 50% of what he owed and he's well on his way to debt freedom.
Mr. & Mrs. K. in Scotland
Mrs. K. had run up unsecured debts and Mr. K. was unaware of the situation until two days before we got involved. He was extremely agitated at the thought of owing in excess of £35,000. Once we had done an in-depth financial review, we found that in fact the total debt was over £97,000!!! Once he had got over his initial shock, we managed to propose a Trust Deed which was accepted by the creditors and now they are paying back just over £30,000 over the next 3 years, after which they will be totally debt free.
Mr. R in Bath
Mr. R. was being sued for bankruptcy but was raising equity from his home through a remortgage to pay his unsecured creditors. When the mortgage broker he was using found out about the bankruptcy proceedings, they refused to help him any more he called us with twelve days to spare before he stood to lose his home and all he owned of any value. Our mortgage experts got him a remortgage arranged and the offer issued within 8 days!
Mr. & Mrs. M. in Worcester
Mr. & Mrs. M. had been advised to propose an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) but unfortunately they had miscalculated the income and expenditure and there was a shortfall in what the client could actually afford to pay. Instead of the £601.00 per month that had been offered to the creditors, they could only afford £346.00! We advised them to join our Debt Reduction programme as they simply could not afford an IVA in their current situation.
After several months, the original company tried to sue for bankruptcy saying that Mr. & Mrs. M. had defaulted on the payments. We contacted both the company involved and the Institute of Chartered Accountants who are their regulatory body and expressed our concerns. Within a week all action had been stopped and Mr. & Mrs. M could breathe a sigh of relief and just get on with their lives!
Mrs. S in Belfast
When Mrs. S telephoned our offices she was extremely distraught and contemplating suicide because of the situation regarding her unsecured debts. We reassured her and got one of our highly trained advisers to go and see her. She was very happy with the solution he proposed and is now well on the way to recovery, while her finances are getting back on track under a Debt Management Program.
She sent us an email describing how making the initial call had completely turned her life around for the better.
